Our Review

Sitting pretty on the quayside of the Floating Harbour, the luxury Bristol Hotel is surrounded by the best of Bristol’s Old City and maritime history. It is also right next to the Arnolfini, Bristol's celebrated contemporary arts centre. Its 187 guestrooms are among the largest and most luxurious of any hotel in the city. As part of the hotel's multi-million pound renovation, all Superior and Deluxe bedrooms have been restyled and refurnished with guests' comfort, convenience and eye for detail very much in mind.

An imposing modern property, The Bristol Hotel sits on the quayside of the Floating Harbour, right next to the Arnolfini, Bristol's celebrated contemporary arts centre. Its 187 guestrooms are among the largest and most luxurious of any hotel in the city. Each of the Superior Rooms boasts pillow-top beds, duck down duvets, crisp white linen, fluffy towels, flat-screen TVs, power showers, Temple Spa bathroom products, voice mail and complimentary broadband. Some also have harbour views.
The hotel’s light, airy, riverside restaurant – called The River Grille – takes the finest natural ingredients, such as the freshest fish, Somerset beef and delicious West Country cheeses, and creates classic, handcrafted dishes with a modern twist. Alternatively, the River Lounge is an elegantly modern meeting place for relaxing over a glass of wine with friends, enjoying a bite to eat or indulging in a sumptuous afternoon tea. And last but not least, the Shore Café Bar is a hip new haven for a morning coffee and bagel, a light, zesty lunch or for sharing a plate of charcuterie and a well-deserved bottle of wine after work.
